I received my Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University in 2000. My dermatology career began in the office of Dr. M. Turner at the Dermatology Center of Lake Orion where I worked for close to three years. I then returned to my home in the West Michigan area to start a family and ultimately joined this practice. I am proud of the work that we do here and enjoy working with general dermatology patients as well as with patients of our Skin Revitalizing Center.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and two children. My interests also include reading, running and enjoying the outdoors.
I am an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (Diplomate), and the Michigan Dermatology Physician Assistants.
I moved to Michigan from the Chicago area in 2006 after receiving my undergraduate degree in biology from Trinity Christian College. I then obtained my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University in 2010. I took a job in emergency medicine for 6 years, where I developed a solid understanding of general medicine. I had always hoped to transition to dermatology at some point in my career as it was a special interest of mine, and was blessed to have the opportunity to join this practice in 2016.
In my free time, I enjoy cycling, triathlons, reading, and spending time with my husband and family.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, being with family and friends, and spending time with her husband in which they especially like skiing and snowboarding, watching Jeopardy, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.
I received my Masters Degree in PA studies in 2004 from Wayne State University after undergraduate work at Grand Valley State. I started the early part of my career in Madison Heights, MI where I worked for four years until returning home to work with the Dermatology Center of Grands Rapids. I am actively involved in the dermatology community and through various medical associations. I love helping people and the relationships with my patients make for a truly fulfilling career.
Outside of work, I remind all of my friends to wear hats and sunscreen! I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chad, and our daughters. Like most parents, I can been seen at various soccer, basketball and volleyball tournaments throughout the year. My family shares a love for water, music, gardening and fitness.
